Lappy's dead. Completely and totally dead.

I did a full-virus scan today because she was acting horrible...found so many trojans and worms. Which is weird because I did a virus scan last night and didn't find anything high risk...

But she was so messed up I had to try to do a pc recovery again...now she'll start up, but she won't open any programs, MSN won't install properly, and Internet explorer doesn't recognize the internet connection. I tried to do a complete systems recovery, but it's saying the settings have disabled system recoveries, and that I need to be on the "management" Windows login or something to complete the action. Thing is I only HAVE one Windows login.

So yeah...Christmas can't come soon enough. I know I'm getting a new cheap but functional laptop with the money my parents are sending me...but I'm not sure I can wait anymore.

Lappy's done. I'm ot even going to try to turn her on anymore. RIP you wonderfully obnoxious pile of computer parts.

My great grandfather passed away in his sleep the other night. He was very sick for a while, and we all knew it was going to happen. I'm just glad he went peacefully and painlessly. I'm going to miss him so much, but he's finally at peace.

I'm proud to be one who can say that I knew my great grandparents growing up. Not everyone can say that.

To all my frieds from MA. Looks like I might be coming by for a week at some point so I can go to the funeral. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you again.

I feel so empty inside...and I keep bursting into fits of tears...

Whew....almost at 200 deviations.

If you don't already know what I'm planning, you're in for a cute little treat for my 200th. Just so you know. Can't promise it'll be anytime soon, but it'll be a great way to celebrate 200 whole images on dA. That's like...twice the amount of those 100 challenge meme things on this site.

And what's super great is I know I have people watching and supporting me through these 200 deviations and beyond. God, you guys are great.

I shouldn't have to change SH*& about my characters just because you don't like a part of their personality/upbringing/lineage. I love my characters the way they are, fan characters or otherwise.

I would, however have GLADLY altered a character for, say, an rp room if it mean I could have fair fun with the rest of you. But for god's sake when you suddenly alter something without telling me ahead of time I'm calling foul, bullshit, and a bunch of others on you. Have a problem with a character I'm rping with? Tell me ahead of time privately. I'll recalculate and alter him/her to fit the unviverse or time he/she is in.

My characters are my goddamned characters, and if something is happening that will directly affect them I have a right to know so I can adjust.

And for the record? Changing sh&$ like that behind my back is NOT "srs rp". It is goddamned rude. If I say I want something more serious that means stop pulling sh*& like this.

I was still living with my parents, on a farm, with Nate living with us. We didn't grow any of your typcal farm crops, and we didn't raise any cows, sheep, pigs, or anything like that.

What we did raise was Dodo birds.

You heard me right. Dodo birds. I guess we were trying to repopulate them or something. I even had a pet one that followed me around that my sister affectionately called DeDe.

So I guess we were sort of training them to be...hot air balloon operators or something. I distictly remember at one point in my dream I looked up and saw a hot air balloon in the sky, tethered to the ground so it wouldn't fly away, went suddenly a beak followed by a little Dodo head popped up over the edge. And my parents were so proud that she was "getting the hang of it". Whatever "it" was.

This dream amuses Besu. She wants to go back to sleep and continue it.
